Batch Image Metadata Editor Online

Upload an image to inspect its metadata.

How to apply shared metadata to a batch

Choose multiple images and explicitly select checked files or all uploaded files as your scope. Set the shared values, review a proposal for each image and apply the changes. Inspect each result before downloading individual files or a ZIP of verified successes.

Shared fields and individual values

Apply creator names, copyright notices, descriptions or keywords while other controls stay on Keep. Replace or fill only missing values for ordinary fields. Keywords support replacing, appending and removing selected values. Different original values can remain different when their fields are unselected.

Mixed formats and individual failures

A batch can contain JPEG, PNG and static WebP within the upload limits shown by the workspace. Each format uses its supported mappings, and each file is validated separately. A failed file does not become a success because another image passed. ZIP downloads include verified outputs and an omissions report.

Example: add a shared creator without changing dates

Select all images from a photo session, set Creator to Maya Chen and leave Date taken on Keep. Review the shared creator change for each file; their different capture dates remain distinct. Download the verified files together after checking individual results.

Processing, privacy and deletion

Originals, previews, reports and edited copies are stored privately on the ImageWing server, outside public media storage. Every private endpoint checks account or browser-session ownership. Preview derivatives contain no embedded metadata.

Uploads expire 60 minutes after upload. Downloads do not extend retention. Expired files become inaccessible immediately; the server cleanup command removes expired temporary files. Delete my files cancels active work; files in use are removed when processing stops or by cleanup. Presets are stored locally in your browser and exclude sensitive values unless you explicitly include them.
